CapFields is committed to conducting its business in accordance with all applicable data protection laws and regulations and in line with the highest standards of ethical conduct. To that end CapFields has defined internal policies, rules, and practices in order to comply with the GDPR regulation.
This regulation is designed to unify data protection laws across all member states of the European Union (EU), plus Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland, and gives protected users and EU residents more rights and control over how their personal data is processed.
The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation - EU 2016/679) replaces the EU’s Data Protection Directive (DPD) from 1995, and better reflects modern data collection practices. The European Parliament official texts can be found here.
This means that the new privacy law is applicable not only to organizations operating within the EU, but also to those worldwide that target individuals in the EU.
As a client, employee, supplier (...) you might be considered as a “Data subject” for CapFields this means that eventually personal data may be collected about you.
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (the data subject). An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
As a Data subject you have the possibility to exercise certain rights. In that case, please follow the procedure described hereafter.

Please note that you will be asked to provide proof of your identity and your request will be processed within 30 calendar days of CapFields’ receipt of a fully completed form and proof of identity. Please note the next steps and directions at the end of the form. The information you supply in this form will only be used for the purposes of identifying the personal data you are requesting and responding to your request. You are not obliged to complete this form to make a request but doing so will make it easier for us to process your request quickly.
